Three Days of Glory

A sense of the spirit is seeing in the spirit. God is invisible and we need to look into the invisible realm. Nobody has ever seen God! The pure in heart shall see God. How is that possible?

You cannot see God with your natural eyes. You need to use your spiritual senses of your new creature in Christ. II Corinthians 5:17

You can smell evil spirits. God smells our spiritual sacrifices as a sweet smelling aroma. God smells our efforts to please Him.

God is a spirit. The Old Testament patterns give us indications of how to relate to God. The tabernacle was a pattern of the body that is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Ways in which we can see visions:

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Different tribes in the world go into the spiritual realm to see visions. Some use drugs. People get harmed and demonised by entering the spiritual realm without God.

Our English Bible is very One Dimensional. The translators used one word for many different aspects of the same thing. The New King James translation of the Old King James word “shew” translates it as “tell”.

Showbread comes from that. It also means to announce in detail and declare and to rehearse and report. The Holy Spirits job is to show you things to tell. He will announce things in detail and rehearse things before you spiritual eyes so that you can act out what He wants you to do.

Jesus operated on the level of “shew”.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

He will show Him how to heal the man at the pool of Bethesda. That is why he did it with confidence. Jesus gave this explanation after he healed that man.

Visions in the Bible

Genesis 15 God cut a covenant with Abraham by cutting animals in half and then Abe had to walk between those animals in a figure eight in the blood of the animal. (Cherith)

God slew Jesus for us and we have to walk in the blood in a figure eight of new beginnings in our spiritual life to enjoy the blessings of that covenant.

God put Abe in a big sleep gave Abe a vision that his descendants will serve a foreign nation for 400 years. A smoking oven and a burning torch walked through those pieces of meat. He was asleep!

On the top of Mt. Sinai it is black because of a smoking furnace. God was a smoking furnace. The Light of the World is Jesus, the burning torch. God made a covenant with Jesus when he put Abe to sleep. Although Abe was asleep he saw it all. His sub-conscious was not asleep. He saw the day of Christ. A vision of the night or an open vision can be experienced while you sleep.

Daniel 2:9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.

It was a very difficult task: if you do not tell me what I have dreamt you will be put to death because your horoscopes have been lying to me! Daniel and his friends were next on the list! Kill the wise men because they cannot tell me what I dreamt. But God revealed it to Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven for revealing it to him because it saved his life!

When you are desperate to hear from God you hear it well!

Peter saw a vision about food because he must have been ravenously hungry at the time of dinner!

Acts 16: 9 Paul on his missionary journey saw a man in a vision calling him to Macedonia!

The Holy Spirit will work according to the principles in the Word of God.

As you hear the word preached on visions you receive faith to receive visions.

Who concluded from the vision that God spoke through the Macedonian man to go and preach there. You need to exercise your faith that God actually spoke to you. All the other doors were closed to them.

God said, “Go into all the world to preach the Gospel!”

The book of Revelation is a revelation of Jesus. If you see anything else it is not from God. Jesus Christ is in charge of the whole thing not the Anti-Christ.

I Corinthians 1:26: You can see a vision of your calling! Your main calling is to be conformed to Christ’s image. When you look into the mirror of God’s word do not be a forgetful hearer but become a doer of the Word.

When you stand in front of the mirror you are rehearsing for the day!

Rehearse the Word as well! God shows you things in the Word what you are supposed to do. Study the miracle of epilepsy and the healing of the fever. Then go out and expect God to do it that day. Do not rank healing or miracles. They are all supernatural!

Ninja, Arab & Jew: Ninja cut a fly in half! The Arab used his reinforced steel to cut the fly in four pieces! The Jew takes out his pocket-knife and cuts in the air but the fly still flies. They Ninja and the Arab laughed at him. But the Jew said you cut the fly in half but I do circumcision!

How many saw a bat or a bird while I was talking about the fly? You only see one picture at a time. Let the Holy Spirit explode your imagination as you read the word of God. Practice seeing the pictures in the Word.

2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Ask the Holy Spirit show me things to come and keep my heart pure so that I will see what God wants me to see! If your heart is not pure your vision will be muddy. If you feel guilty you cannot see. If it is cloudy it is because you still smoke. Repent and get it out of the way. It clears your eyesight in the spirit. Get your windscreen wipers going. Sometimes you have to heat up your car in order to see clearly. You need to get heated up again by the spirit of God.

Visions and dreams are the same. Young men and old men can see visions. It is for every spirit-filled believer. Get a vision chair. This is where I see visions! Show me a Holy Ghost movie. Slot in a scripture in your spiritual DVD machine and have surround sound in your vision. Have a big screen experience. Have a virtual reality experience with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Have a vision room instead of only a television room. The natural is a pattern for the spiritual. Your vision room already exists in the spirit.

If you do not exercise your spiritual muscles you will be unfit to see the vision of God. You will get spiritual eye cramps! A back-slidden person gets a fright when God shows you something!

Don’t be satisfied with seeing the trailer of the Holy Ghost movie! See the whole movie and once you go into that place of the spirit until He has finished with the vision. You can go there again and again. He can show you how to turn away from attention seeking Christians and turn to save the lost! You can stay in a vision. Do not run out of the spiritual cinema before the vision is finished. Do not jump to conclusions! Then it will benefit all. You go into error if you only want visions for yourself. Visions need to be judged by the apostles and prophets. Once you start treating visions like prophecy they will flow like spiritual gifts.

When you have seen something you must be assured of the vision, embrace it and confess it! Like Hebrews 13 says and then according to Habakkuk you must write it down and make it plain. Do not add or subtract anything from it or the message will self-destruct! Tell it exactly like you saw it. Tell it the same way every time! Be disciplined.

Without vision people perish. Where there is vision you will experience life. Proverbs 28:19 actually speak about prophetic vision.

Some examples to exercise seeing visions:

Eg. Fire: see what God is showing you in Jeremiah about fire.  God is consuming fire and He wants us to become consuming fire as well because we are made in His image.
